Tamsyn Stonebarger joins The Trust as Social Media & Engagement Manager, bringing more than eight years of experience in digital strategy, content development, and social media management across professional sports and collegiate athletics. Driven by a passion for authentic storytelling, she has built her career around creating spaces where people can share genuine stories and connect with communities that matter to them.
Stonebarger comes to The Trust from D.C. United, where she served as Marketing Project Manager and previously Social Media Manager, leading multi-platform content strategy and co-leading Women United, the club's Women's Employee Resource Group. Before that, she spent time at the University of Florida as Associate Director of Digital Strategy, where she directed social media for @GatorsFB and helped rank the program among the Top-10 Power 5 programs in the country (SkullSparks, 2023). She has also contributed to social media efforts at the Los Angeles Clippers, Washington State University, and Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi.
A native of Austin, Texas, Stonebarger is a 2016 graduate of Arizona State University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in journalism, contributed to Sun Devils football recruiting and operations, and co-founded the university’s chapter of I Am That Girl, a women's empowerment organization that partnered with the ASU Football Leadership Council to foster mutual empowerment between men and women on campus. She continues that commitment to community off the field as an active supporter of the DC Coalition to End Sexual Violence (DCCESV), amplifying their initiatives across Washington, D.C. and beyond.
