Kara is a Chicago native and 2020 graduate of Michigan State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a minor in Sports Reporting.
Prior to the Trust, Kara worked on the communications and content teams for the Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago White Sox and Tampa Bay Buccaneers where she produced written articles and media notes. In her spare time, Kara enjoys attending sporting events and concerts, traveling and reading mystery and thriller novels.
