Danielle Burrell joined The Trust (Powered by the NFLPA) with a strong background in student-athlete development, academic support, and professional preparation. She brings extensive experience mentoring student-athletes and supporting their academic success and postgraduate aspirations through collaborative programs and committees.
Before joining The Trust, Danielle served with the Brown University Division of Athletics and Recreation, where she made an immediate impact by providing mentorship and academic guidance to student-athletes. In addition to her full-time role, she actively contributes to the Professional Association of Athlete Development Specialists, helping plan and execute the organization’s annual summit and curating meaningful content to engage members throughout the year.
Danielle previously worked as the Coordinator of Compliance and Student-Athlete Success at Whittier College, where she supported purposeful initiatives focused on professional development, mental health, and community service.
She holds a Master of Science in Educational Psychology from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Miami.
