Andrei Galatanu is a finance leader with nearly 20 years of experience overseeing financial strategy, reporting, compliance, and operational stewardship across mission-driven organizations. As Senior Director of Finance & Accounting at The Trust, he leads the organization's financial operations and supports long-term planning to ensure strong stewardship of resources and sustainable impact.
Andrei brings deep experience leading finance functions in complex, high-visibility environments, including serving as Interim Chief Financial Officer for the Democratic National Committee and most recently supporting financial reporting and audit readiness efforts at the Recording Academy during a major finance systems transformation. Throughout his career, he has helped strengthen financial governance, improve reporting transparency, and support executive decision-making during periods of growth and change.
He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds degrees from the University of Virginia and American University.
