Deon Grant played for 12 seasons in the NFL, playing for the Carolina Panthers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Seattle Seahawks, and the New York Giants. Grant played in 11 playoff games in his career, winning two NFC Championship games and appearing in two Super Bowls, resulting in winning Super Bowl XLVI.
He had the longest consecutive starts and game streak amongst Safeties and third amongst Defensive players. He served as a Player Rep and a Defensive Captain during his time with the Seattle Seahawks, and was named the 'Godfather' of the team by his peers and coaches while playing for the New York Giants.
