The Trust, in collaboration with Cigna, offers eligible former players Supplemental Mental Health Benefit coverage for certain outpatient mental health services.
The Trust's Supplemental Mental Health Benefit (SMHB), administered in partnership with Cigna, helps eligible Former Players access outpatient mental and behavioral health services in their local communities. Whether you're seeking counseling, psychiatry services, or a higher level of outpatient care, SMHB can help remove financial barriers so you can focus on your well-being.
Eligible services covered by SMHB include psychiatric evaluations and follow-up appointments, Intensive Outpatient Programs, Partial Hospitalization Programs, and individual counseling to address mental/behavioral health concerns.
Whether you currently have health insurance or are uninsured, the SMHB may help cover eligible outpatient treatment costs. Cigna coordinates provider enrollment, claims processing, and payments, making it easier for Former Players to focus on care and recovery.
At The Trust, we believe that taking care of your mental health is just as important as taking care of your physical health. Through the Supplemental Mental Health Benefit, eligible Former Players can access support, guidance, and treatment resources designed to help them navigate life's challenges and build lasting wellness.
