The Trust (Powered by the NFLPA) was established through terms outlined in the 2011 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) between the National Football League (NFL) and the NFL Players Association (NFLPA). Designed to provide Former Players with access to the resources, experts, and opportunities needed to support long-term success and well-being, today, The Trust continues to connect Former Players with personalized support through an earned benefit created by players, for players.
The Trust is committed to helping Former Players make the most of the benefits they have earned through the game.
Through personalized guidance, trusted partnerships, and access to proven resources, The Trust empowers Former Players to prioritize their health, pursue personal and professional goals, strengthen their communities, and continued growth throughout every stage of life.
Former NFL players with two or more credited seasons are eligible to access The Trust's programs and services.
Former players with fewer than two credited seasons are encouraged to contact The Trust to learn more about other resources that may be available through the NFLPA and NFL.
Former Players participating in football activities outside of the NFL may continue to access most of The Trust's services and resources.
However, certain medical and wellness assessments may not be available while participating in non-NFL football activities.
Non-NFL football activity includes participation in leagues such as the CFL, Arena Football, and other professional football organizations, including practices, training activities, and games.
If your playing status changes, please notify The Trust as soon as possible.
Should I engage in Non-NFL Football Activity of any kind, and at any time, during my enrollment in The Trust, I understand I am required to notify The Trust immediately.

A Gameplan is a personalized roadmap designed to help former players identify goals, priorities, and opportunities available through The Trust.
Developed in partnership with a Trust Program Manager, the Gameplan helps connect Former Players to resources and services aligned with their individual needs, interests, and long-term objectives.
The Trust partners with leading health and wellness providers across the country to offer comprehensive evaluations for former players.
If a partner is not available in your immediate area, The Trust team will work with you to identify the most appropriate assessment location and assist with scheduling.
In some cases, The Trust may provide travel support related to certain programs and services.
Coverage varies by benefit and may include transportation, lodging, and meal expenses. Please contact The Trust directly for details regarding eligibility and covered travel expenses.
