PACT at Tulane School of Medicine

The Professional Athlete Care Team (PACT) clinic at the Tulane University School of Medicine supports your health and safety on and off the field through the Brain and Body program.

Your health needs are unique, and understanding your overall health is an important step toward maintaining your well-being.

Through PACT at Tulane School of Medicine, eligible Former Players receive a comprehensive Brain and Body Assessment designed to identify potential health concerns, establish a baseline of overall wellness, and provide personalized care recommendations. The assessment takes a whole-person approach, evaluating physical, cognitive, emotional, and cardiovascular health to help players better understand their current health status and future needs.

Throughout the process, each player is paired with a dedicated Care Manager who serves as a personal guide, helping coordinate care, answer questions, and ensure clear communication before, during, and after the assessment.

Following the evaluation, players receive a detailed review of their results, a personalized care plan, and recommendations for ongoing treatment and follow-up resources.

Additional Services May Be Available

Based on individual needs and assessment findings, additional services may include:

  • Cardiology evaluation
  • Urology evaluation and prostate-specific antigen (PSA) score

Family Support

Health concerns can impact more than just the individual. When appropriate, players may choose to involve family members or significant others in discussions about assessment findings, treatment recommendations, and available resources, helping build a stronger support system throughout the care journey.
