Damon Lloyd serves as the Outreach Manager for The Trust (Powered by the NFLPA), bringing five years of professional football experience as a linebacker in the NFL and UFL, including time with the Los Angeles Chargers and Birmingham Stallions.
His journey from the gridiron to the business world is marked by a strong commitment to growth, leadership, and service. Damon earned his MBA from the Kelley School of Business and is an accomplished entrepreneur with a diverse portfolio spanning food service, technology, and recovery solutions.
Before joining The Trust team full-time, Damon participated in The Trust Fellowship Program, where he focused on empowering former players to build confidence, take ownership of their post-playing careers, and thrive beyond the game. His successful transition from Fellow to Outreach Manager reflects his dedication to supporting the former player community and advancing The Trust's mission.
In his current role, Damon works directly with former players, helping them navigate available resources, engage with programs and services, and maximize the benefits they have earned. His experience as a former professional athlete, combined with his business acumen and passion for service, strengthens The Trust's commitment to helping former players achieve success and well-being beyond the game.
