Andrew Zink re-joined The Trust in November 2024 as the organization's Director of Operations and Quality Control. In this role, Andrew collaborates with leadership to develop and implement operational strategies that align with The Trust's strategic objectives, ensuring world-class customer service through an emphasis on accurate and detailed documentation, processes, and procedures.
From 2021 to 2024, Andrew served in the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), National Institutes of Health (NIH) as an Administrative Officer. In this capacity, he served as a senior policy advisor to scientific leadership across numerous basic and clinical research laboratories. He oversaw personnel recruitment and onboarding, regulatory travel compliance, and managed laboratory budgets and grant accounts. Andrew's contributions earned him the NIH Director's Award for Operational Excellence for his work on the creation of the Vascular Diagnostics Center, as well as the NHLBI Director's Group Award for Collaboration as part of the NHLBI Cultural Improvement Committee.
Andrew served as Operations Manager for The Trust from 2015 to 2021 and Operations Coordinator from the organization's inception in November 2013 to 2015, helping build many of the organization's policies. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, a Master of Professional Studies in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University, and a Graduate Certificate in Organizational Behavior from Harvard University.
