Amy Pettigrew joins The Trust after serving as an Event Manager with the NFLPA for three years, where she served as the lead on Former Player Services Department events, PAIR, and Agent Seminar. In prior roles, she worked for the National Governors Association, the United States Tennis Association, The Walt Disney Company, Special Olympics North America, International Economic Development Council, The Catholic University of America, and Teachers College, Columbia University.
Amy has a master’s degree in public administration with a concentration in international affairs from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in parks, recreation, and tourism management from NC State. She earned her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation in 2017.
She currently serves as Chair for the Association of Meeting Professionals (AMPs) and is a member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and Meeting Professionals International (MPI). Amy previously served on the Board of Directors for North Carolina State University’s Alumni Association and was recognized with their 2015 outstanding young alumna award. She has also received recognitions by the Connect Association (40 Under 40), Smart Meetings (Industry Leader), and PCMA (Visionary Awards–Community Advocate of the Year finalist).
Amy is originally from NY and currently resides in Washington, DC, with her husband, son, and cats. She enjoys live music, exploring food/drink venues, volunteering, traveling, running, playing flag football, and spending time with family/friends.
