Zak DeOssie served as a 13-year special teams player and 9-year Captain for the New York Football Giants, where he won two Super Bowl Championships (XLII and XLVI) and two Pro Bowls (2008 and 2010). He and his father, Steve DeOssie, hold the distinction of the only father-son pair to have won a Super Bowl with the same franchise. During his time in the NFL, Zak served as a Vice President of the NFL Players Association, where he was elected to the Executive Committee in 2014, and also served on the Financial Literacy Committee and the Finance Committee. Following his retirement from football, Zak joined Goldman Sachs as a Vice President Private Wealth Advisor and is now a fully licensed investment professional.

He has served on the NJ Advisory Board for America Needs You since 2012, a non-profit organization that fights for economic mobility for ambitious, low-income, first-generation college students. He has also been a long-time supporter of Newark Mentoring Movement, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Lupus Foundation of America, and the Special Olympics of New Jersey.

Zak earned a B.A. in Public and Private Sector Organizations from Brown University in 2007, and participated in the Harvard Business School NFL Business Management & Entrepreneurship Program in 2008. Originally from North Andover, MA, he currently resides in Summit, NJ with his wife, Kate, and two sons, Lukas and Blake.
